Always striving upwards

Acting Principal's Message

Student Exchange

As Term 2 draws to a close, I’m sure all students are looking forward to a well-deserved break, especially after what has been a longer-than-usual term.

Last week Mrs Hayley Watson and Ms Marlo VanderZalm accompanied our College student leaders to Perth as the first part of our annual Sacred Heart Exchange. This experience provides both staff and students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the history and charism of the RNDMs, including a special session at Highgate where the Australian chapter of their story begins.

This week we are delighted to welcome visiting students and staff from Perth and also from Sacred Heart Hamilton, New Zealand who will be joining us for our Sacred Heart Day celebrations on Friday. This year we are also welcoming music students from Sacred Heart New Plymouth, New Zealand. Our celebrations on Friday offer a rich opportunity to build connections with other Sacred Heart schools that share our appreciation of the RNDM traditions and charism.

The term break offers students a valuable chance to relax and reenergise ahead of Term 3.

I wish all our students a safe and enjoyable holiday.
