Last Friday, we celebrated the Feast of the Assumption. During the liturgy in our Chapel and in Religious Education classes, students reflected on Mary as the first disciple— her deep commitment to God and her willingness to say “yes” to His call. Her example remains a powerful role model for us all.
One of the most striking aspects of Mary’s discipleship is the way it challenges us to reflect on our daily interactions. Do we truly respect the dignity of every person we encounter? Do we extend kindness and respect not only to friends and family, but to everyone—even when it is difficult? This is not always easy, yet it lies at the heart of who we are as a faith community. By living this out in our daily lives, we follow Mary’s example and contribute to building a more inclusive and harmonious world —something needed now more than ever. Every small act of kindness has the power to make a difference.
We were also delighted to announce our Deputy College Captains for 2026.
