Sacred Heart Dominates CGSAV AFL
Sacred Heart delivered a strong and spirited performance at the CGSAV AFL Competition on Thursday 18 June, with students showcasing skill, determination and outstanding teamwork across all year levels.
The Senior Team enjoyed an exceptional day, finishing the competition undefeated and securing the grand final victory. Their cohesive play and on‑field leadership were evident throughout the tournament. A special congratulations goes to Jessica, who was awarded CGSAV Best Grand Final Player for her impressive performance and consistent impact across the field.
Our Junior and Intermediate teams narrowly missed out on grand final appearances, but both groups delivered commendable efforts. They demonstrated resilience, strong teamwork and a positive attitude, even when results didn’t fall their way. Their commitment to each contest reflected the values and spirit of Sacred Heart.
Across all teams, students represented the College with pride, enthusiasm and fair play. Many are already looking ahead to next year’s competition—a sign of the passion and drive that continues to strengthen our sporting culture.
