Music Camp
Music & Memories
Our annual music camp was such a productive and enjoyable experience! It brought students from all years together for a fun stay, full of music and connection. Held from the 14- 16 May at the Edmund Rice Centre in Lower Plenty Victoria, this beautiful campsite gave us the perfect chance to develop our musical skills and make new friendships.
In our daily ensemble rehearsals, music students and their ensemble leaders worked hard on improving their playing and singing. We focused on developing our sound better, listening to each other, and learning some challenging new pieces. With help from our music teachers, we made noticeable progress, and it all came together in a really enjoyable final concert.
Outside of rehearsals, we had a lot of fun as a group. We enjoyed meals together with our friends, laughing and catching up with each other. We also engaged in team-building activities which were a highlight as they encouraged us to mix with people we didn’t usually hang out with, helping everyone make new connections and friendships. These moments created a really warm and supportive atmosphere where everyone felt included.
By the end of the week, we left not only as better musicians but also with lots of new friends and amazing memories. Music camp is definitely one of the highlights of the school year!
