Where has Term 3 gone?
It has flown by in a whirlwind of learning, creativity and achievement!
There has been so much happening across the College this term. We have enjoyed outstanding performances at our Annual Music Concert and VCE Dance and Music Performances. Our STRIVE students headed off on a STEM excursion, while our Year 9 students deepened their understanding of Macbeth
through a dedicated text workshop. Many students also challenged themselves in the Australian Maths Competition, and our Outdoor Education Studies students swapped the classroom for the mountains during their camps to Mt Buller.
We have also celebrated learning in all its different forms through Languages Week, Technology Week and Book Week.
Whether it is performing on stage, taking part in a competition, heading outdoors, exploring a new language or getting lost in a good book, these experiences are such an important part of life at the College and help build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging as well as provide students with opportunities to discover new interests and simply have a go at something different. We encourage every student to take advantage of the opportunities available to her.
2027 Subject Selections
Thank you to our students and families for the care taken with the recent subject selection process for 2027. While we work hard to accommodate every preference, various factors can sometimes affect this. Any student impacted will be contacted directly by a member of the Leadership Team in the coming week.
Years 7–9 Examinations
A reminder that all students in Years 7 to 9 will sit their examinations on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 September. Examinations provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned, practice important study and examination skills, and reflect on their progress. We encourage families to support students in approaching the examinations as a positive checkpoint in their learning.
