VTAC Timely Course Preference Applications – 28 September
A reminder to all families of Year 12 students that VTAC timely course applications for courses commencing in 2027 close Monday 28 September 2026. Students should ensure they have created their VTAC account, researched their course options and submitted their course preferences before this deadline. Students can apply for up to eight courses and should list these in their genuine order of preference, rather than according to how likely they think they are to receive an offer. Preferences can be changed during later Change of Preference periods, so students do not need to have every decision finalised by this date. The cost of timely course preference applications is $83.
It is important, however, that students submit an application by the timely deadline to avoid the higher late application fee and to ensure they are eligible for the relevant offer rounds. Equity schemes and scholarship applications have a separate closing date of 5.00pm on Friday 9 October 2026, with timely submissions provided via their student portal on Friday September 18 2026.
