The Outdoor Learning Program is an integral part of Sacred Heart’s curriculum, using experiential learning in outdoor environments to build student confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership and environmental awareness across year levels. Outdoor Learning is off and running in Term 1, 2026. Year 7 students begin with Discovery Camp at Shoreham and Iluka in Week 5.
Week 7, sees our Year 10 students take part in the Summit Camp; choosing from rock climbing at Mount Arapiles, a north-east cycling journey near Bright, or a multi-activity camp at Wilsons Promontory.
Year 12 VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies students will visit the Bellarine Peninsula to explore historical relationships between people and the environment.
