A Hive of Activity

As we reach the midpoint of Term 2 and winter sets in, the College remains a hive of activity. Our Year 10 and Year 11 students are preparing for their upcoming examination period. This is an important time for them to consolidate their learning, refine their study habits and demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed over the semester. Teachers are working closely with students to ensure they are well-prepared and supported through revision, feedback and encouragement.

The term has also been filled with enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom. Students took part in the Model United Nations Assembly run by Rotary, showing collaboration and global thinking. Year 11 History students visited the Jewish Holocaust Museum, gaining profound insights into history and humanity.

Our Year 10 Stagecraft students were inspired by the musical Hadestown, while Year 10 IT students attended the Big Day In conference, exploring future technology careers. Year 7 Geography students ventured to Oakleigh for a fieldwork excursion, applying classroom knowledge to the real world.

Meanwhile, our Year 9 students have been out and about, exploring, learning and connecting with the vibrant city of Melbourne through the exciting STRIVE program. Designed to foster independence and confidence, STRIVE offers students meaningful opportunities to experience the city’s rich culture, creativity and sense of community.

It’s wonderful to see such diverse and engaging learning opportunities across the College. As we move through the term, we commend our students for their commitment, curiosity and enthusiasm.
