SEGAP Tennis

On Friday 31 October, the tennis team proudly represented Sacred Heart at the South Eastern Girls' Activity Program (SEGAP) Tennis Competition. The event was held at Kilbreda College. Rain did not dampen our spirts and we managed to get into the Grand Final and eventually take first place. It was an enjoyable day and we had a great time playing sport alongside our close friends. Everyone on the team played incredibly well and tried their hardest. Congratulations to Caitlin P. (Year 7) who was elected as the Most Valuable Player from Sacred Heart. Thanks to Ms Martin for coaching.

SEGAP Softball

On Friday 31 October the SEGAP Softball Team were lucky enough to spend the day at Kilbreda College playing a sport we loved; softball. We played different schools competing to get into the finals for the SEGAP competition. It was great as we enjoyed spending time with each other and learning more about the sport, and improving as we went. The day was full of energy and excitement from start to finish. A mix of fun and competition was worked into each game. Our efforts paid off as we even got a home run at one point! It was so nice being able to stay outdoors playing sport together. Although we didn’t make it to the finals it was overall a memorable and enjoyable day through teamwork and effort. Thank you to Ms Pritchard for coaching.
