On Thursday 16 October the Years 11 and 12 VCE VM class celebrated their achievements over the past year at the VCE VM Showcase, with their families and teachers. The students and their teachers organised the event together – an afternoon tea and presentations of the many projects completed this year.
The families were so impressed with the work completed in all the VCE VM subjects – Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development skills and Work-Related skills. These included the ‘Heartful Threads’ Opp Shop, the ‘Honeyhearts’ Beeswax Wraps project, Numeracy Games, their many projects on Road Safety and using social media safely and their Work and Career Portfolios. The afternoon ended with a photo montage that highlighted all the wonderful learning opportunities experienced by the students over the year.
Our VCE VM students have been a wonderful group of young people to teach. All of their teachers spoke about how rewarding it was to work with this group and how proud they were of them. These students have grown in many ways this year and we especially wish our two graduate students all the best as they step out into the world full of possibilities. We also look forward to teaching the new VCE VM class next year!
