Year 12 VCE VM - Seeds of the Heart

The Year 12 VCE VM team, has been working towards creating a community Sacred Heart Girls' College Vegetable Garden. One of our Year 12 VCE VM students, Madeline came up with a wonderful name for our Vegetable Garden "Seeds of the Heart". The process included students meeting with leadership and pitching their proposal for a Vegetable Garden. Students conducted a range of research, which included the most sustainable and practical garden beds and plants. They worked alongside maintenance to clear the area, assemble the garden beds and fill the garden beds with soil. The VCE VM students will continue to work on the Vegetable Garden. It is hoped that these beds can supply produce for use in the Canteen and Food Technology.
