On Wednesday 13 August, seven volleyball teams proudly represented SHGC at the CGSAV Volleyball Competition. The girls had a fantastic day, playing with great spirit and enjoying the experience. All teams achieved varying levels of success, with several outstanding individual performances.

• Junior A – 3rd place, narrowly missing a spot in the Grand Final by percentage

• Junior B – WINNERS!

  • Ivy P. was named Best Grand Final Player
    

• Junior C – WINNERS!

  • Leonie D. was named Best Grand Final Player

• Intermediate A – 3rd place with 3 wins, 1 narrow loss (by a single point), and 1 draw

• Intermediate B – Equal 4th with 2 wins and 3 losses

• Senior A – 2nd place, finishing runners-up to Academy in the Grand Final

• Senior B – Equal 5th place with 1 win and 4 losses

Congratulations to all players on their efforts, and a special shout-out to our juniors for leading the way. The future of volleyball at SHGC looks very bright!
