Outstanding Efforts All Round
The last two weeks have been packed for SHGC sports. The CGSAV Athletics Competition was held on 27 May. The girls had a very strong performance that day. The Juniors finished 2nd, the Intermediates 2nd, the Seniors 5th, and 3rd place overall for all schools. A fantastic effort from all the girls involved, and a superb performance despite the nasty weather.
CGSAV Cross Country Competition was held on 4 June. We were very lucky to dodge the rain in the morning and afternoon, and had a great day of races. Our Juniors finished 5th, the Intermediates 6th, the Seniors 3rd, and 4th overall for all schools! A special shout out to Sienna Z in Year 7 for winning the Junior Division 2 Race with a time of 12:16, the fastest time of the day in all of Division 2. Well done Sienna.
All of the girls should be applauded for their efforts and performance on these days. Thank you to all the staff involved on these days, they wouldn’t happen without you.
