CGSAV Hockey

Last Wednesday, we had two teams enter the CGSAV Division 2 Hockey competition. It was a fantastic day with a great turnout for everyone involved.

Our Junior Team finished third overall, only letting in one goal the entire day. The girls worked hard all day, and despite not getting the result we wanted, all the girls had their heads held high and were enthusiastic to represent the college with pride and spirit.

Our Seniors took home a Grand Final win after a close game in the end. After coming up short in their first game, the seniors bounced back well for the rest of the day, and ended up as champions! Kaylea D was also awarded the Best Grand Final Player medal at the end, a well-deserved medal after a spectacular performance in the match.

Aerobics

The Sacred Heart Aerobics Team recently competed at the regional competition in Doncaster and achieved fantastic results. Our Senior Team delivered an outstanding performance, placing 1st with an impressive score of 87. The Junior Team also performed exceptionally well, finishing 4th with a score of 81 in a highly competitive top-scoring division.

These achievements are a reflection of the team’s dedication and commitment, with students training four days a week to prepare for competitions. Their hard work, teamwork, and determination were evident in every performance.

The team is now focused on their next challenge, the State Competition, which will take place in three weeks. We wish all of our athletes the very best as they continue training and representing Sacred Heart with pride.
