Standing With Women in Need

Recently, our SRC leaders had the privilege of meeting Sarah from the Vinnies Youth Engagement Team and Aldo from Vinnies Soup Vans program who were at the College to collect the sanitary products from our International Women’s Day drive. Sarah and Aldo personally attended the SRC meeting to express their gratitude for our generosity and to explain the direct impact these donations will make for women in our local community. They highlighted that due to the increasing effects of the cost-of-living crisis women are having to prioritise food over purchasing expensive hygiene products. Aldo told us that our donations would be distributed that very night to women (including young university students) living in Dandenong and the South Eastern suburbs.
