SHGC Shines at CGSAV Indoor Cricket

On Tuesday 24 March, students from the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Teams proudly represented the school at the CGSAV indoor cricket competition, competing against other Catholic girls’ schools. All three teams performed amazingly, especially considering we had moved up a division this year and were competing in Division 1. The day was full of exciting matches and strong encouragement for all SHGC teams.

Each age group took part in fielding, bowling and batting, with students delivering impressive performances across the board. The Junior team fought hard and made it to the grand final, finishing as runners-up. The Intermediate team achieved an outstanding overall victory, with a special congratulations to Anastasia Z, who was named MVP for the Intermediate competition. The Senior team also showed great determination and skill, reaching the semi-finals.

Overall, the day was a great success, showcasing teamwork, sportsmanship and school spirit. The experience gained and the effort shown by all players made it a memorable event for everyone involved.
