I am delighted to join the Sacred Heart Girls' College community as a Learning Support Officer (LSO). After a successful career in corporate sales, I chose to follow my passion for education and supporting young people to reach their full potential.

My transition into education was inspired by my personal experience supporting my son through his learning challenges. This journey deepened my understanding of the importance of explicit instruction, targeted support and strong collaboration between families and educators.

I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent students who may find it difficult to thrive within the curriculum, helping them build confidence, independence and the skills needed to succeed. I am continuing to educate myself in the Science of Reading and the broader evidence-based education space as I work toward my long-term goal of incorporating specialised tutoring in explicit, structured teaching approaches for diverse learners.

I value inclusive learning environments where diversity is embraced and every student is given the opportunity to thrive.

In my spare time I love cooking, getting out in nature and keeping active.
