Over the Christmas break, our Groundskeeping and Maintenance teams worked together to enhance the College’s Native Garden. The project aimed to create an eco-friendly and welcoming space where students can feel grounded and enjoy natural elements such as shade and seating.
We have been delighted by the positive feedback and enjoy seeing students making the most of the space during recess, lunch and free periods.
We are also pleased to report that more plants than originally expected were able to be reused from the previous garden and replanted in other areas around the school.
The Groundskeeping Team looks forward to continuing this work in collaboration with students and student groups, such as the Fire Carriers, as we transform other garden areas across the College into sustainable, native and eco-friendly spaces in the months ahead.
