Unite Against Poverty this Lent

Project Compassion Fundraiser in Ms Noonan’s Year 10 Religion Class.

In Year 10 Religion class we organised a fundraiser for Project Compassion called the “Pingpongathon”, each student in our class was sponsored to play ping pong non-stop for a whole period. We decided as a class this was a great chance to donate to Project Compassion and advocate for people in need. It was a class of fun and faith in action, and very much in line with our school theme, Hearts that Listen, Hands that Act. As a class we were incredibly grateful to have the opportunity of organising such an amazing fundraiser for Project Compassion and discovered that Social Justice at our College comes in many shapes and sizes.
