Staff Spotlight: Health & First Aid Officer

I’m excited to join the Sacred Heart Girls’ College community as the new Health & First Aid Officer.

I’m a qualified First Aid Trainer with eight years’ experience and have been involved with St John Ambulance Victoria for 18 years, attending a wide range of major events as a First Responder and Advanced First Aider, including AFL, netball, tennis, concerts and live shows.

I also work with Medx Medical & Retrieval Services, supporting events such as car racing and horse racing, and teach First Aid at TAFE to pre-apprentices, apprentices and VCAL students. In addition, I bring four years’ experience in aged care, which has strengthened my passion for caring for others.

My role at SHGC focuses on supporting student health and wellbeing, and attending to staff injuries and medical needs. This involves providing immediate care, ongoing support and ensuring every recovery has the best possible outcome.

I’m looking forward to getting to know our students and staff and being part of the Sacred Heart community.
