St Vincent de Paul Soup Van
Throughout Term 3, Sacred Heart Girls’ College made a commitment to collecting and donating warm woolies and toiletries to the St Vincent de Paul Soup Van, which distributes these items in Melbourne to people experiencing hardship. Our Social Justice Leaders led the project, encouraging students to donate and stand in solidarity with those who are less fortunate.
These donations are in addition to the Vinnies Winter Sleepout held in Term 3, where $1,700 was raised by Year 11 students. Canvas bags decorated at this event will also be donated to the Vinnies Soup Van.
