SEGAP Junior Netball & Volleyball

On Thursday 13 August, nearly 60 Year 7 and 8 students participated in the SEGAP Junior Netball and Volleyball Competition at Monash University against OLSH, Killester and Kilbreda. It was an exciting day of Netball and Volleyball filled with friendly competition and plenty of fun as students proudly represented their schools.

Our 3 Netball teams played competitive matches against some strong opposition, with all players displaying great improvement in their skills. Congratulations to Ita G, Deshna A and Flora K who were awarded the MVP for their respective teams.

Our Volleyball teams had a hugely successful day with the B team winning their Grand Final and the A and C team both finishing Runners- Up in their tightly contested finals.Congratulations to Ivy D, Averie L and Shanisse M who were awarded the MVP for their teams.

CGSAV Soccer

CGSAV Soccer was held on Tuesday 18 August at Darebin Sports Centre in Thornbury. On a beautiful spring like day, our Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams played a number of matches against some strong opposition. It was a challenging but enjoyable day of soccer, with our teams showing great determination and sportsmanship throughout every match. Despite some tough results, all players gave their best effort and gained valuable experience along the way.Congratulations to Cleo P, Maia S and Zoe D who were awarded the MVP for their teams.

As we head into the final few weeks of term, we are currently trialling and preparing our teams for CGSAV Table Tennis and Softball and SEGAP Tennis and Softball, to be held early next term.
