Past Students

Calling all Sacred Heart Girls

Last week I asked our past students on Facebook a simple question: what year did you finish? I expected a handful of replies. More than 100 came in, from Matric 1964 right through to 2019.

The years were only part of it. One past student remembered Sr. Tarcisius in the Annex. Another told me her year was the first to wear the blue uniform. A group from 1969 still catch up regularly, even though they’re now spread up and down the east coast. And many have since sent their own daughters, and in some cases granddaughters, through our gates.

I’ve recently joined the College as Marketing and Community Engagement Leader, and part of my role is helping our past students stay connected with Sacred Heart and with each other. Several year groups have already been in touch about reunions, and I’d love to see more of that.

This is where our current families can help. If you're mum, grandmother, aunt or a family friend went to Sacred Heart, please pass this on. They can find us on the Sacred Heart Girls’ College Past Students’ Association Facebook page, or email me at [email protected] with their name, maiden name if it’s changed, and the year they finished.

Whether they want to organise a reunion, reconnect with old friends or simply hear what’s happening at the College, I’d love to hear from them.
