2026 VSMF Competition
The Music Department kicked off its busiest month of the year on a high, with two fantastic achievements at the 2026 Victorian Schools Music Festival (VSMF) Competition.
On Monday 3 August, the String Ensemble performed a varied program, followed by the Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday 5 August in their first-ever VSMF Competition performance. Both ensembles delivered wonderful performances and were awarded a magnificent SILVER Award.
Their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to regular practice and rehearsals have truly paid off. It was wonderful to see their hard work, musicianship and teamwork shine on the day.
We would also like to thank all parents and carers for their ongoing support and encouragement throughout the preparation process. Your commitment makes such a difference and is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations once again to all our wonderful students on this fantastic achievement!
