SEGAP Inters - Netball & Volleyball
On 24 July, Sacred Heart sent our Inters Netball and Volleyball Teams to the Inters SEGAP Competition held at Monash University.
For netball, our A and B teams brought home the gold! Our C team came fourth overall. All the games on the day were close, only winning or losing by 1 or 2 goals. All the girls kept up a tremendous effort all day, and cheering our other teams on from the sidelines when they had a break.
Our volleyballers had a tougher day, with our A and C team finishing 3rd, and our B team earning the runners up spot. The volleyball courts were the loudest when we were playing, because we would cheer every point, and lift each other up when we lost a point. A fantastic display of school spirit and fair play. Despite not getting the results we wanted, the girls displayed some strong resilience to keep giving their best effort.
Altogether, a great day out, with some fierce competition and lots of memories made. Thank you to the staff and student coaches that assisted throughout the day.
