Year 11 student, Solenn C is one of ten students selected from schools across the Melbourne Archdiocese to represent our college in the ACU School Leader’s Program from the 15 November until the 6 December. This program can be described as a modern pilgrimage through Rome and London exploring how the Catholic Church has shaped Western civilisation in art, learning, ethics and law. In Rome the group will visit places such as the Colosseum and Vatican City, and travel to Castel Gandolfo and Assisi to reflect on leadership, stewardship and the witness of saints. In the UK they will explore Westminster and Oxford University, tracing the Church’s dialogue with democracy and its role in founding universities and advancing faith and reason. This is a wonderful opportunity for Solenn and with prayer, reflection and on-site learning, this opportunity will help her grow in global awareness and servant leadership.
Please keep Solenn in your prayers and watch for updates as she returns to share what she’s learned.
