This year’s House Arts Festival was filled with cheers, laughter and thunderous applause. On Sacred Heart Day, we came together to celebrate the hard work of over 250 student participants—more than we have ever seen before. Sacred Heart’s arts community was truly on display, with outstanding performances in song, dance and film showcasing the incredible talent our school has to offer.
These talented students gave up their busy Monday afternoons each week to rehearse under the guidance of our dedicated student volunteer leaders, who devoted countless hours to planning, directing and rehearsing each act. With no teacher involvement, the competition was entirely student-led. Our leaders became role models, fostering friendships across year levels and inspiring younger students through their leadership.
The level of talent across the board made the judges’ decisions incredibly difficult. In the end, Trinity was victorious in all three disciplines, taking home the overall award in a stunning display of house spirit and pride.
The House Arts Festival was a brilliant example of our school community coming together to celebrate the unique talents of every student. The sound of the roaring crowd echoed throughout the school, reflecting our deep Sacred Heart pride and the strength of our supportive community.
